After experiencing childhood trauma, I found yoga as a source of healing and spiritual connection. Leading me to consistently return to my refuge of yoga throughout the last 20 years.
As a larger bodied person, self doubt kept me from believing I could be respected as a yoga instructor. It didn’t keep me from my personal practice even throughout 5 pregnancies and the ebbs and flows of motherhood. From prenatal, to baby and me, to partner yoga as my kids grew, yoga was a pillar of emotional wellbeing and community for me and my family.
After graduating with my B.S. in Psychology from CSU,I became a registered behavioral technician and became passionate about teaching neurodivergent children mindfulness skills and adaptive movement. To further my ability to do this with clients and my own children, I took a children’s yoga teacher training at Om Ananda in Fort Collins. Here, I found a supportive community that encouraged me to complete the 200 hour training, even if it was only to deepen my personal practice.
This journey led me to realize the perfect way to deepen my practice was to teach and share my passion for the healing nature of yoga with anyone I can. I learned to make teaching less about my ego and more about the personal experience of the students in my classes. Some of the biggest struggles I had like being in a bigger body or managing chronic illness have become a powerful point of connection for others in the community. Now, I am proud to be a representation of people like me in this community because yoga is for everyone!
I am RYT-200, RCYT, RPYT as well as certified in trauma informed yoga, restorative yoga, and somatic healing.

I am a certified full spectrum doula and I completed 40 hours of training at Peaceful Birth Company. I am also currently studying to become a certified lactation councelor.
Personally, being the birth giver to 5 children has prepared me more for this role than any of my trainings. I have lived experience bodyfeeding all of my children. I personally tandem nursed 2 pairs of siblings and nursed one of my children well into their third year of life. That being said, I am incredibly supportive of whatever feeding option you choose for your family.

I am also a behavioral healthcare practitioner ( lead QBHA) with The Willow Collective. I facilitate groups as a peer support specialist with the Yarrow Collective, and I offer private pay supportive services like peer support, coaching, and somatic healing.
